No – we do not allow the general public to use the boat launch.
Yes, electric plug-ins and extension cords are available at the dock.
Yes, there is room for more than one boat on the dock and there is parking for additional vehicles and trailers.
During our peak summer season (June-August), we’re not able to offer early check-in or late check-out. This allows us the time needed to thoroughly prepare each cabin for incoming guests.
In May and September, we may be able to accommodate early arrivals or later departures depending on availability. Feel free to reach out ahead of your stay, and we’re always happy to check for you!
Yes, we do offer Wi-Fi in the cabins. That said, because we’re in a rural area, the connection can be inconsistent at times and may not be strong enough for streaming movies or other high-bandwidth use.
Most guests find it works well for checking email or light browsing—but it’s also a great opportunity to unplug and enjoy the quiet, peaceful setting.
Yes, each cabin has a window air conditioner to help keep things comfortable. For warmer days, some guests also like to bring a fan for extra airflow, especially in the evenings when you can pull in the cooler air off the lake.
To keep the resort peaceful and safe for all guests, UTVs and other off-road vehicles are not permitted to be driven on resort grounds.
However, you’re welcome to bring them along and trailer them to nearby trails. There are great riding opportunities in the area—you just won’t be riding directly from the resort.
Below are a few reminders for your stay with us:
CONDUCT/NOISE: Our goal is to provide our guests with a peaceful and relaxing getaway. To accomplish this, partying, rowdiness, intoxicated behavior, foul language, excessive and ongoing loud noise (like barking dogs, screaming kids, lots of hootin’ and hollerin’, etc), and other conduct disrupting the quiet use and enjoyment of the resort is not allowed. Please do not bring stereos/Bluetooth speakers to the beach.
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.
RESORT AMENITIES: The canoe, paddleboat, kayaks, and paddleboards are all free for our guests to use. Please handle all resort equipment with care and use them only as designed. When you are finished using something, put it back in the designated storage area. There is no lifeguard on duty so swim at your own risk. Small children should not be left alone at the lake or on the docks. Please note that MN law requires you to have a lifejacket in your possession while using any watercraft including the canoe, kayaks, and paddleboards.
GARBAGE & RECYCLING: Garbage and recycling bins are located next to the fish cleaning house. Please bag and seal all garbage before placing in the bins. Do not use trash cans to dispose of campfire ash or fish guts. Cans, glass, and plastic go in one bin, and recyclable cardboard in another.
FISH CLEANING: There is a fish cleaning building located in the middle of the resort right across from the playground. Do not clean fish in your cabin. Fish guts are to be bagged, sealed, and placed in the freezer inside the fish cleaning house. Leftover bait can be disposed of in the same way.
PETS: Dogs are welcome at the resort for an additional fee. They MUST be kept on a leash. Excessive barking, whining, or aggressive behavior is not allowed. Dogs should not be left alone in the cabins and are to be kept off the furniture. Dogs are not allowed at the swimming beach but are welcome to swim in other areas away from other resort guests. You are responsible for any damage or injury caused by your pet.
CAMPFIRES & FIREWOOD: Fires must be kept small and never left unattended. All campfires must be out by 12 am. When finished with your campfire, douse it with water to extinguish any embers. Firewood can be purchased at the resort or from a local retailer. To help limit the spread of invasive species, only DNR approved firewood purchased locally can be brought into the resort. NOTE: Please be mindful of noise levels when gathered around the campfire during quiet time hours- sound travels here!
BOATS & DOCKING: An on-site boat landing is available for guest use. Boats should not be driven near the floating raft or through the swimming area between docks 2 & 3. Boats should be docked with their bow towards the lake. We are not responsible for loss or damage to your boat or equipment.
VISITORS: Visitors staying over 2 hours, or those using the resort amenities count as additional persons and will be charged the additional person rate. Visitors must check-in to the office upon arrival.
OTHER:
Check-in is any time after 4 pm. Check out is by 9 am.
